I feel that blogging wasen’t after all really my thing, i like writing some reviews, thoughts and stuff but not on any regular basis.
I will ofcourse keep doing WAR videos so you can always check out my youtube channel from time to time

Choppa Day 1

The first day with my new Choppa was GREAT, the servers came up very late but i managed to get to Rank 6 the first day.

My friend and I started WAR every fifth minute to check if the game was up and finnaly the servers went up! We started by creating our choppas, mine is in the picture above.

We started by doing a Scenario and it was very fun, even though there were lots of slayers and choppas there were still alot of other classes aswell, and unfortunatly ORDER usually had the most Healers so they won quite alot. I still se some balance issues with Slayer vs choppa but it is alittle better then it was on the Test Server.

After doing some Scenarios and and Quests we tried to to the First PQ in the Greenskin area.. it didn’t work very well , you can see the picutres in my Choppa Gallery, it was loads of choppas there. But the biggest issue wasen’t that there were lots of players sharing the Inf, the biggest issue was that the PQ bugged alot, so for example.  The giant that is supposed to put the mine infront of the dwarven fortress, he went around for about 1 min before he even got to the mine, and the dwarfs we were gonna kill were unkillable for a very long time. So my friend and I ignored that PQ.

I had to quit the game when we got to Chapter 2.

All and all it was a really really fun day, a great class, and great action.

Some problems that occured was as said above the PQ buggeg alot, there were alot of players trying to get the same things you needed and the mail didn’t work (guessing it was to much for the server).

That was my first day with the Choppa!

I will continue to write about my time with the Choppa But not every day, that would take to much time and probably get booring .

EU Server Merge

The EU servers are “finnaly” merging, is it a good thing?

I believe it is , when i first started playing warhammer the servers i played on was always High-High population wise, but when i came back, to my suprise, the servers was at top med-med, and even though that is a steady stream of players and the fact that you could always find people to do stuff with some days it just wasen’t any action to be found. That is why i think that the Server merge is a good thing, to once again get the populations to High-High. The only part i might find negative with it is a) “new” players to the server community, but they will learn the server soon enough b) Quenes, if GOA has made this merge correct there will be more players on the servers but still no Quenes.

And what i’ve seen from GOA since my return i am confident they will not screw it up.

Oh! And choppa and Slayer is comming today, i will post my first part of the Choppa tomorrow

Bitter Rival completed

I have now Compleated the bitter rival event with one of my alts, i have done half of it with my main but i played the event with a friend since we will both reroll a Choppa.

Yes that is right i will roll a choppa (so, ye, will probably change the logo abit).

What can i say, it is really a.. well frankly the only thing good about it (in my opinion ofcourse) is the Twisting Towers for me atleast. The daily tasks was.. well fun but they were far to easy and well boring to do, except oRvR killing me and my friend had a blast killing alot of them destruction players =).

The bitter Rival public quests then?

Well since NOT ONE SINGLE BEING on my server played those i don’t want to comment on that.

That is just a few thought on the event and where this blog is headed, i might also add some non WAR related posts (game related ofcourse) .

Armor

Starting armor is what you would expect, not much, just a pair of pants, but it looks okey and lvling up you look cool.

lvl 18 template was also cool, however i do not like the fact that the slayer uses striped pants(!?) it makes his ass very big… and that is.. well not fun to look at.

lvl 28 template was really cool, my favorite look (again pictures in gallery) with gold kind of  look on the armor and really nice weapons

lvl 40 template.. i was so dissapointed it is UGLY (last pics in gallery) his pants his shorter then his underwear! it is not gold, and it looks like rubish in my opinion.

The armor on the templates are the keep gear you get(devestator, annihilator, dont remember 18 name ) hopefully they will improve the armor on the 40 slayer or that the other armor sets really are gold, big troll heads and stuff as they said it would be.

Mechanic
You have a meter above the actionbars that tells you how much rage you have.

The mechanic works really well, you deal get into combat the meter gets up, out of combat the meters goes down, if you are going berzerk you take alot of dmg but deals ALOT Of damage.

The only problem for me is that sometimes it feels like the meter goes up to slow, but most of the time im glad it dosen’t go up to fast because i would die.. ALOT more then

Skills

The skills are what you would expect from the Slayer, damage, alot of damage, most of the skills are interesting and fun and are really really good and you never end up using the same skills over and over again, you never spam 123, well you can but most of the time that is not a good idea.

My View

The slayer is a really really fun class in the case of mechanics and the fact that in my opinion this is the only heavy melee damage career in the game, sure you have your white lion and marauder, but they are good at damage but still they do alot of damage but try to stay alive, Witch elfs and Witch hunter stealthy and mostly just do it from behind and Engineers (i hate witch elfs) and healers.

The slayer however (and choppa for that matter) goes head-on on ANYTHING that even looks at them the wrong way, sure we die alot but you can bet that at 40 these fellows will be top in damage done.. ALWAYS, more or less.

But there is one problem.. armor, if you are a person that likes getting new stuff and new looks you will NEVER like the Slayer, why?

Well the slayer wears pants and have stuff on his arms and that is about it (weapons excluded) you will mostly see your tatoo, and that is unchangeble and that means you will look alot like you did in the earlier ranks. There will be Feet and shoulder and pants that is really cool and you would die to have BUT in the end the tatoo is your biggest “Armor” in the sence that it is the thing you would like to customize the most, you will always be cool (aslong as you skip the keep armor at 40) however so that is a gigantic ++++++!!!

I will probably have a Slayer Alt but i will not play it as main. I find my Engineer being a Cooler and funnier choice BUT i will recommend the class to those that want BIG damage and even tough you will not have alot of armor you will look COOL.

I would really like feedback on this review so i know what i should work towards for the next review i will have, this is my first one and i hope you have enjoyed it

Slayer Review Delay

Im sadden to report that my PTS review on the Slayer will have to Wait until tomorrow, I require a bit more testing and time to complete it.
